Hatha Yoga - Yoga Nidra
Classical Hatha Yoga is traditional, slow paced but still a very powerful practice that will calm your mind and will increase flexibility, strength and vitality of your body. During the class we will be following the method of Swami Sivananda of Rishikesh in Northern India - one of the most known and inspiring yoga teachers of all times.
Asanas (poses) during the class are performed in suggested order that helps to open energy channels within the body and stimulate the inner organs.
Yoga Nidra is a powerful relaxation and meditation technique that is commonly known as a yogic sleep. Practice brings you into a state of a conscious deep sleep. You are no longer in the waking state of consciousness, but you also move past the dreaming state of consciousness into the deep sleep state. Practicing Yoga Nidra is very simple: you just need to lie down on the floor in a comfortable position and follow the guiding voice of the teacher.
Through those spoken instructions the body will completely relax and your awareness will turn inward.
