Resistance Stretching

Resistance stretching is where you contract and lengthen a muscle group at the same time. It works by stretching a muscle group through its range of motion while under contraction.

For this reason resistance stretching is as much about strengthening a muscle group as it is about stretching it. You will notice a significant increase of your range of motion, even after the first session.
